Louis.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the accurate and efficient handling, packing, and shipping of products.
This position is responsible for maintaining the organization of our warehouse, managing inventory, and contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
Key
Responsibilities:
Receiving and Inspection:
Receive, inspect, and record all incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
Report any discrepancies or damages to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, and restocking as needed.
Order Picking and Packing:
Accurately pick, pack, and label orders for shipping while ensuring the quality of packaging and the integrity of products.
Shipping and Receiving:
Prepare shipments for delivery or pickup, including the generation of shipping labels, scheduling carriers, and coordinating with delivery personnel.
Quality Control:
Perform quality checks on products and communicate any quality issues to the appropriate team members.
Warehouse Organization:
Keep the warehouse clean and organized, following established safety and organization standards.
Ensure products are stored in designated locations.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Equipment Operation:
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other warehouse associates and team members to achieve productivity and efficiency goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
Basic computer skills for inventory management and shipping software.
Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
