Job Description:
We are seeking a Director of Pet Enrichment/Doggy Day Care to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of the pets in our care.
As the Director of Pet Enrichment/Day Care, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive enrichment program that ensures our four-legged guests are mentally, physically, and emotionally stimulated while staying with us.
You will lead a team of dedicated pet enrichment specialists, making Imperial Animal Hospital Pet Lodge a leader in pet well-being and enjoyment.
Key
Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee a diverse range of pet enrichment activities and programs tailored to the unique needs and preferences of various breeds and individual pets.
Train and lead a team of pet enrichment specialists to ensure consistent and high-quality care for our guests.
Collaborate with the pet care team to ensure that enrichment activities are seamlessly integrated into each pet's daily routine.
Continuously assess and improve enrichment programs based on the latest industry trends and research.
Maintain detailed records of each pet's enrichment experiences and progress, ensuring that their stay is both enjoyable and beneficial.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a leadership role within a pet care or animal welfare environment.
A deep understanding of pet behavior, psychology, and the principles of enrichment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with both pets and their owners.
Dedication to promoting the physical and emotional well-being of pets.
