The Old House Steakhouse.
We are a family owned and operated winery, restaurant and event center with locations in DeSoto, MO (LaChance Vineyards) and in Historic Downtown Kimmswick, MO.
We have most recently been named Best Winery in the St.
Louis region by St.
Louis Magazine in 2023, and by Feast Magazine in 2022 and 2019.
We have also been named as one of the best reception venues in the St.
Louis Region by St.
Louis Bride Magazine.
We are looking to add a couple additional servers to our Kimmswick team, with weekenk availabilty.
We host Lunch service Wednesday- Sunday, and Dinner Service Thursday- Sunday, along with live music 4 times a week on Friday Evenings, Saturday afternoon and evening and Sunday Afternoon.
We are a full service winery, and resaurant (Steakhouse) Situated in a 1770's era log cabin.
We need to add an attenative teammember that can help aide in excellent tableservice, customer service and attention to detail.
We offer a caual dining and work experience for our guests and staff.
We are often fast paced and working in a fun enviroment! Everyone comes to the winery to have fun and enjot themselves.
We also host several in-house events throughout the year, along with corporate events, banquets, showers, birthdays, rehearsal dinners, (when it comes to events, we do it all!).
We also participate in all of the city wide events that are hosted by the City of Kimmswick and the Kimmswick Merchants Association.
We have a easy to learn menu and system.
Server Job Description Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly - Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner - Ensure guest satisfaction by providing exceptional service - Assist with food preparation and plating as needed - Clear and clean tables after guests have finished dining - Handle cash and process payments accurately using a cash register or POS system - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
Experience:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required - Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction We offer competitive pay rates, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for career growth within our organization.

Pay:
For servers, starting pay is $6.
00/ hr plus tips.
A total tipout of 3.
5% of net sales to bar, bussers, and hosteses is automatic.
On average, our service staff makes well over $20/hr PLUS cash tips.
All credit card tips are added to your bi-weekly paycheck, which is done via direct deposit.
